Option 1: Delete inside the app
- Sign in to Transit Genius.
- Open Settings, then open your profile or account settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the warning and confirm the deletion request.
- Complete any recent-login or identity-verification step requested by the app.
Option 2: Send an external request
Email privacy@jmitsolutionsllc.com using the subject Transit Genius Account Deletion Request.
Include only:
- The email address or phone number registered to your account.
- Your full name as it appears in the app.
- A statement confirming that you want the Transit Genius account deleted.
What will be deleted
After verification, we will delete or de-identify account information that is no longer needed, which may include:
- Your authentication account and profile information.
- Saved addresses, saved trips, preferences, and notification settings.
- Your profile image and other user-managed account content.
- Support content when it is not required for an unresolved incident, security investigation, or legal obligation.
What may be retained
Some information may be retained for a limited period when necessary for completed transactions, ticket validation history, refunds, payment disputes, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, safety investigations, legal claims, or other obligations. Retained records will be restricted to those purposes and deleted or de-identified when the applicable need ends.
Verification and timing
We may ask you to verify ownership of the account. We normally aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, although applicable law or a complex security, payment, or legal matter may require additional time. We will notify you if more time is needed.
